Energy utility data specialist Optima Technology has entered into an agreement with JLL to provide utility data processing. JLL selected Optima as a partner after the firm ran a global RFI to inform JLL’s partner strategy for utility data processing, which is a key component to JLL’s sustainability data management offers for its global client base. Optima Technology was selected for its technical capabilities such as automation and data capture accuracy, global footprint, and ease of implementation of its bill management solution.
Optima Technology’s Optii platform automatically aggregates usage and spend data, providing client partners with a robust and accurate foundation to inform their sustainability reporting and measure their net zero progress across the business change process. The company’s utility data processing solution can simultaneously handle unlimited unit bands and data points across multiple territories where other validation platforms are constrained.
On the partnership, Ben Rouncefield-Swales, Executive Vice President UK & Europe, Optima Technology said: “Having supported our partners for many years within the UK and limited European markets, it is fantastic to see our offering evolve to serve new partners with clients in any jurisdiction and with any contracting arrangement.”
“Partners supporting their clients with ESG reporting across multiple territories, using our Optii platform, are now also able to validate utility data from these territories before committing it to external disclosure – a key enhancement to data integrity and robust reporting.”
Optima Technology will continue to provide full-service training and ongoing support from its UK-based service desk and customer success team.
